meet the muses
Born in Miluwakee, Wisconsin, but raised partially in Los Angeles, California during her childhood summers, Kayla Jackson is not only currently a Business Development Account Manager for Level 3 Communications, a professional cheerleader for the Atlanta Hawks, and an aspiring entrepreneur, but also a Muse.
“In an artistic setting everything about you can become art to an artist and provide inspiration to create something beautiful, to do better, and or inspiration to have success"
When asked what that title means to her, she says is simply means being an inspiration; “In an artistic setting everything about you can become art to an artist and provide inspiration to create something beautiful, to do better, and or inspiration to have success.” Kayla credits much of her success to her “Inner Goddess” and knows that her femininity is one of her most empowering tools; There are three things I enjoy most(about being a woman) , my sexuality (aka my inner goddess), my ability to reproduce, as well as having a natural nurturing spirit. My inner goddess allows me to be the glam girly girl I am. I can be sassy, sexy and classy all in one and its perfectly ok. I love the ability we as women have to reproduce. Reproduction is so beautiful to me and to know we as women have the physical capability to give birth to another human being makes me believe we can do anything. Lastly, I believe that both men and women can have nurturing spirits but its something about a woman’s touch that just comes naturally.” What’s the one thing Kayla wishes all men understood? “One thing I wish all men understood and did was to tap into their emotional awareness. When I reference emotion I am referencing feelings… A lot of men, not all don’t quite un - derstand how to be as expressive and sometimes comes off as closed off. So I would love for men to learn how to be more open about their emotions whether happy, mad, sad, depressed, annoyed etc. It’s very cleansing to be open about one’s feelings and makes you a better spouse.”
